This post is documentation for a media package I’m creating for Landfall Games. The rest of my project can be found here.
With March coming to a close, so too is my month-long project to create a media package for Landfall Games.
Throughout this last week, I have spent the majority of my time filling out my landing page, as well as writing additional documentation.
Uploading Content
From day one, I’d planned to compile my project on my landing page in the last week, assuming it would be the easiest part. I was wrong. While I was adding content to the page, I realized how many times I linked back to previous work. I spent two hours transferring all of my blog posts to my website, making sure I’d linked the correct posts and websites.
Once all of my posts were uploaded, I began the construction of my landing page.
Rebuilding the Page
Using the framework I’d laid out in week one, I began writing the copy for my landing page. Starting with a brief project overview, and then getting stuck at the final product section.
While linking to all of my content, I realized I hadn’t made the writeups for the social media posts. I knocked those out quickly, adding them to my page as I wrote them.
Near the bottom of the page, I decided I needed to redo my contact section. Originally, it was a black and white text block, which I felt was too boring and didn’t draw attention as it should. I redesigned the section, highlighting it with a brighter color.
After uploading, refining, and checking every link, I feel my landing page is complete. The last piece of the project is this post.
This month has gone by in a flash, and I’m proud of the work I’ve completed. If you’d like to see the rest of my project, check out my landing page!
